When you turn the laptop upside down, you’ll see a single large grill at the bottom, which is meant for intake purposes and two smaller ones, but with bigger holes, on the side – exhausting hot air in a fashion similar to HP Elitebook 1050 G1. As you can see from the imagery, the characters are printed with a very high font size, which looks a little weird at first but is pretty useful in low light conditions, especially when paired with the adjustable backlight. In addition to the relatively long travel, they have nice tactile feedback. Unlike some of the competition (aghm… Lenovo Yoga 730 (15″) …aghm) the keyboard here features the NumPad keys, which some of us love. However, we should not ignore the other, more conventional, input methods – the keyboard and touchpad. Obviously, the most exciting thing about the HP Spectre x360 15 (15-df0000) is its 4K touchscreen panel and its ability to be used with a stylus. This trend continues to a “tent” mode and even when you completely close them in the other way (meaning “tablet” mode). As we already mentioned they are not very stiff at the closed position, but as soon as you lift them up, they do a pretty good job of securing the display. Let’s get back to the hinges for a second as they are a pretty interesting feature in this device. ![]() Compared to its main rivals it is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier but it definitely compensates with its visuals. Anyways, we are talking about a 15-inch convertible with all aluminum design which weighs 2.18 kg and is just 19.3 mm thick.
